Hello Kitty, here I come!! Be enchanted by the fairytale world of Hello Kitty when you're in Japan. Other than the Sanrio Puroland (サンリオピューロランド), fans of this popular fictional character should never miss the chance to visit these fabulous outlets when you travel to Tokyo.
Let's first start with the latest Sanrio outlet named "Hello Kitty Japan", located on the 4th Flr of Tokyo Solamachi at the new Tokyo Sky Tree opened mid 2012.
Just look at their handphone covers! Wish I could grab them all! They're made of silicon & not some cheap plastic ones.
Spot my new Kitty HP cover & my charismatic Japanese hair stylist!
Look! The store even has a Hello Kitty beauty counter with all the skincare & cosmetics like face masks!
How about some Hello Kitty BB Creams?
Here's what I've got from the store...... The shop at Tokyo Solamachi is rather small, with mostly souvenirs for tourists & ornaments to commemorate the launch of Tokyo Sky Tree. Check out info on how to get there & have a look at the beautiful Tokyo Sky Tree & Hama Steak House (東京スカイツリー/ステーキハウス ハマ)!
Next stop is to two Hello Kitty outlets located at NishiGinza Mall.
When you're there, look for Questina on Level 1, which houses Sanrio products.
You'll be amazed by the range of ladies clothes & accessories they carry. If you've time, you can also have your Hello Kitty manicure done on this level.
Once you're done there, proceed to Level 2 & you'll find Sanrio World.
You'll find all the Hello Kitty & Sanrio items you need. It's a huge place for you to shop! Gosh, I want that sofa!!!
Here's my haul!
This pix didn't do justice to the Swarovski HP bling-bling attached; it's much prettier than it looks from here. Do you like the iPhone case? I used to hang accessories on my mobile phones, but since switching to iPhones, I have't been able to do that. But this silicon case has holes at the side for you to hook your accessories; so damn cool!
One of my fave items! Love the elegant gold toiletries bag!
I also found a bling-bling Kitty mechanical pencil at the Narita airport, ending my last Hello Kitty shopping in Tokyo!
How to get to NishiGinza:
Check out my invitation to L'Embellir, a Michelin-starred French Restaurant In Tokyo just about 10 mins walk from the Omotesando (表参道) station!
